This Argentine wine is crafted using white grapes – typically a blend of Chardonnay, Viognier, and Torrontés – that are fermented with their skins, a technique similar to that used in red winemaking. This extended skin contact not only imparts a beautiful amber hue but also boosts the wine's complexity, introducing beneficial phenolic compounds and antioxidants often found in red wines.
Pulenta Estate is the realisation of a long family tradition in Argentine viticulture, founded in 2002 by brothers Eduardo and Hugo Pulenta, fourth-generation winemakers. They combine their extensive experience with a commitment to crafting high-quality, limited-production wines from their estate vineyards in Mendoza.
This "orange" winemaking technique yields a wine with aromatic and floral notes, often featuring hints of citrus and stone fruit. On the palate, expect a refreshing acidity balanced by a subtle tannic grip, accompanied by a harmonious blend of fruit and spice.
